I'm trying out a new controller after messing up the joystick on my old one due to smash monkey flip abuse. Now i can't seem to do it consistently. I dont understand why. I can smash attack with the joystick 99.9% of the time, in any direction, especially f-smash, but i can only get smash...

It hasn't happened to me much, but has happened, when i hit opponents on the ground, or while they're slightly above me following a downtilt. It seems to fail a lot more when i try to hit someone on battlefields platform. The first hit is stronger, so they sometimes get hit too far for the other...
