...I found one myself the other day! While on the ledge, drop off and Uair, and then buffer a rising Fair. Fox can get back on the stage and autocancel. The last hit of Fair will hit someone standing near the ledge. It's pretty hard to do because you can get trapped under the lip of the ledge...

I nearly dropped Fox until you said he was good... it took me a while to agree, but now I think you're right. Fox is good. I found what you said about shields to be very interesting. I played Melee a couple days ago (the Brawl scene is dead over here) and I kept trying to shieldgrab everywhere...

There's no way this combo would be guaranteed at low percents, I've seen spot dodge avoid Dair -> buffered grab many times. It would probably work anyway because opponents often shield to avoid Utilt/Dsmash/Usmash. I'm sure that it could be guaranteed at higher percents, but at those percents...

Yeah, I really don't use this much at all, unless I took a stock and I start showing off before they return to the stage. If anything, I just thought it was interesting.

What if you tried to SH Bair autocancel? It could punish any movement options, probably beat out any attack/grab and is mostly safe on shield.
