I think him talking about Chrom and Dark Samus' popularity when being chosen is a great sign. By all intents and purposes Dixie is much more popular than either of them. I've got a lot o hope for this and I think it'll come to fruition.

I do think it'd be weird on the website if it was DK, Diddy, K. Rool and then Dixie. Wouldn't feel right. It'd work a lot better as protagonist, second protagonist, third protagonist and main antagonist. It's how Mario is ordered with Mario, Luigi, Peach and Bowser and it looks great there.

There is nothing wrong with changing a moves properties for Echo characters though. Dark Pit has a very different side B with different properties to Pit's. I can see the gumballs bouncing and going farther with less charge than the peanuts.
