OP has been updated with the latest method to installing SLAJ.

I tried Freakyhax with a friend who has the latest firmware and he was able to get the SLAJ build no problem. So it should be fine.

I made an edit to the OP. It actually is possible to get the equipment you need while having smash downloaded from the eShop. You'll still need Homebrew, and you'll have to edit the equipment yourself using an equipment editer. I can provide you the values you need if you are able to do it.

Unfortunately, Homebrew is currently the only way of distributing the SLAJ build. Nintendo patched out browserhax the most reliable way we did it before with newer firmware. If something else does open up however, I will gladly update the OP.

As fun as SLHG was, it had its fair share of problems. The most important being that you could not play online or go into training mode with it. Now with equipment, you can do both! The increased gravity also screwed a few characters recoveries. Sonic, Megaman, and Duck Hunts for example. But...

We gave up on Moon Launcher. The damage output on certain moves was absurd, and moves only killed off the top about 7% earlier. Which frankly wasn't worth it especially when Ryu's fair did 20%. After everything, I believe our next and likely final build will be: Smooth Lander, Anchor Jump...

I got OOT3D today. Once I get powersaves, I'll start working on a new build. And hopefully if it goes well I can provide save files for both homebrew and powersaves depending on what you have to share it.

I have a question. Currently, 7 characters still cannot full hop to the Battlefield platform. Mr. Game & Watch, Little Mac, Link, Ganondorf, Dr. Mario, Ryu, and Mii Swordsman cannot do it. My question is, would it be possible to hack in specific equipment pieces for these characters until...

Project Lander... I dunno I think people would get the idea that we're trying to be a "Project M" of sorts and we really aren't. Accessibility wise we just need patience and to wait for another 3DS exploit.

Impossible I'm afraid. You have to follow very specific guidelines for equipment so they are recognized as legitimate, and allowed to be transferred over. Thats why we went with Super final smasher, a skill you're never gonna use unless you're playing with items. That's how we got 0/0/+23

A basic brawn, protection, or agility badge that will help balance the stats out. It won't have any affect on it.
