^Yeah SmashGod did it in one of his gameplay videos from 3.02. Not sure how practical it is but it looks pretty flashy. You can also do the same kind of thing on battlefield if you do a shorthop on the top platform then teleport down.

Wait so in order to do a hover cancelled aerial I shouldn't press jump -> hover -> fair? Am I doing this right or wrong? Not sure what my button inputs actually are my hands are just too used to the inputs... Sorry about the quality, is that about how fast you guys do it though?

You can telehover in certain directions from the top platform in battlefield. I'll make a gif on it here in a bit.

Nah it's definitely not instant sadly :/ If you space is perfectly it takes something like 10ish frames to grab it... Again I don't know if this is even viable in play, but I thought that It was something interesting. I've used it already a couple times myself to get a gimp b/c people don't see...
