I know this is old, but like others said, focus on how to beat him instead of trying to find a character that wins the matchup. Catch his bombs, clank his boomerang, and powershield all three of his projectiles. Especially catching bombs. They'll hitconfirm for you just as well as they do for him.

Fox's usmash is probably still better than G&W's 'cause of the huge lag.

You can most definitely block projectiles while walking. You just can't run.
