I doubt the CC Controller is faster than the GCN Controller. At best it should be the same speed -- logically thinking. Perhaps the only reason the GCN Controller seems slower is that sheilding takes a tad longer than the CC.

I experience lag as well but not so significant -- I can do friend matches easily, lag free but when I try with anyone mode I can usually NEVER find anyone and if I do, it times out and I get disconnected from NWFC.

The Classic Controller also has springs within the shoulder buttons. I don't know how people can make that a more viable option to solve that problem.

Usually those games employ some sort of motion control to promote Wii's ease of accesibility toward it's games. ... but I think and hope they'll do an old fashioned commercial without any of that "Wii would like to play" nonsense.

If you really want to be technical the wavebird controller isn't the best of choices since the signal it uses isn't all that fast. If you notice, it has a bit of lag and thats especially bad in fighters. The classic controller is the best bet in my opinion. Wii Remote + Nunchuck doesn't...
