Yeah, I discovered it after some weeks of playing SSBM years back. Now I saw that nobody posted nowhere how to get infinite combos in that way, so I uploaded the video to youtube and wiitube.

No, to get all those combos in that way without glitches. And yes, one of the uses is to get quickly the unlockable trophies in training mode.
