(Zombies Ate My Neighbors was released on the Super Nintendo and the Sega Genesis. It was developed by Konami/Lucas Arts.)

This is THEE topic to discuss everything about the above game and what aspects we may want to be included in Brawl (that is, if they decide to incorporate any aspects of this title in Brawl at all.) Let's run down a few things and throw in your ideas/support, or if you don't agree, please share. (Please post ideas about the characters/moves, items, weapons, music and even stage ideas. More or less, post anything you have to share!)

Characters

Julie (Brunette, purple jacket, orange cap.)
Zeke (Blonde spikey hair, black skull t-shirt, Red/Blue 3D glasses.)

Personally, I'd rather see Zeke appear, as he was more unique as a character in looks than Julie was, plus, I think people identify Zeke more with this game than they do with the female heroine. Do you all agree?

Zeke (or Julie)'s moves. Please add ideas as I'm a little blank right now.

B (Soda-Pop Bomb) My favorite item in ZAMN. Toss a 6-pack of soda at an enemy and watch it explode!
Up + B (???)
Over + B (???)
Down + B (???)

Items

I can't recall all the items in the game, but here are some I do remember and think would be great addtions to Brawl.

Clown Doll (In ZAMN, it would stop enemies dead in their tracks and allowed you for a quick get-away. Imagine putting up those noisy clown blow-up dolls and causing your opponent to be completely glued to the stage for a few moments?) This could also be a good Down + B move.

"?" Potion (Random effects) (I can only recall three effects)
-Turn into a monster (Gives you super-strength and makes you invulnerable to attacks.)
-Gives you super speed (Self-explanatory)
-Poisons you (Causes you to walk very slow.)

Plates/Forks/Knives (Actually one weapon, throw them all at once.)

Hm, I only have a vague recollection of this game (I played it one time at a friend's house in...2nd grade?). But what I can remember of it is good, and I think that Zeke would add a nice bit of variety to SSBB. =)

One weapon I just remembered was the fire extinguisher (the screenshot helped.)

In the game, it would freeze an enemy, and it had limited use. In Brawl, let's forget the Freezie and use the fire extinguisher! Imagine being able to freeze and immobilize multiple opponents at once (until it runs out, that is.)

Weren't there tons of items in that game that powered you up? Like all kinds of bombs, dynamite and guns. However, a character that's all projectiles would be boring.

Haha, the greatest was the forks/knives, you could use them to kill werewolves, because they were silverware XD

They'd NEED to have the classic water pistol as one of their moves.

Samus only attacks with projectiles in the Metroid games (except for the Screw Attack and Speed boost), but that didn't stop her from becoming a full character with just a few projectiles.

Samus only has 2 projectiles (missiles + Charge shot). Of course, you're apparentely classifying her Screw Attack as a projectile and her missiles come in two varieties. What I mean is that they might have to make the Zombies Ate My Neighbours characters ultra-projectile-based. Like, every single move except Up + B is a projectile.

I loved that game, but I don't think it'd be a high priority if I were developing SSBB... and I doubt it is for Nintendo itself.

High priority or not, it is one of the most popular "un-popular" games. ****it, stupid oxy moron. What I mean is, it's one of the most unappreciated games/and or game that people never knew about, but it's such a classic. I read that in Game Pro.

I'm still going to be hopeful.

I never thought I would see the day where people were clamoring to have characters from ZAMN in smash.

I am still hoping they would throw in the poll for America. I forgot to add the characters/suggestions from this game on my addition to the poll. Oh well.

I can't really justify the fact if I would have added it in the form, that aspects from this game would be in Smash, but it would help if I gave them the idea.

I think he means in the Metroid games and not smash. Samus has the wave beam, Ice beam, charge shot, long beam, Bombs, super bombs, missiles, super missiles, and all the new beams from the Prime games. She has tons of weapons that didn't make the cut, like the ZAMN kids.

IMO, Zombies would be a fun addition, though not the top of my list.

If this is a sega genisis game why would it be in s2b2
For some reason the OP posted the Sega Boxart. It also came out for the SNES (In fact, my copy of it is sitting not 10 feet away as we speak).

First of all, very nice of you to mention these characters. The game was awesome. What was that password that allowed you to play the very first bonus stage (the one before the first level)? Was it like the first 4 numbers of the password screen or something? Bah, allow me to continue what I was trying to say in the first place:

Wiki states:
Other weapons include water pistols, footballs, cutlery, plates, Martian bubble guns, popsicles (originally bananas in the Monsters beta version), tomatoes, and soda cans. However, the strongest weapon is the flamethrower found in the level Revenge of the Tongue.

B : Flame-thrower.
>B : Soda-pop bomb aimed like Yoshi's ^B.
^B : Bazooka shot downwards to blast character upwards.
vB : Something.

I wanted to fit the Watergun in there but I couldn't think of how that would work.

Great item suggestions too.

I doubt any character from that game will be in Brawl but I'd like to see of the items (like Pandora's Box and the Crucifix).

Pandora's Box would act as a great item, and it attacks all enemies, or in this case, all opponents on screen.

They made a sequel called Ghoul Patrol on the SNES as well. IMO Zeke looked better in that game.

I actually played Ghoul Patrol for the first time last night, and hated it. I can't believe they call that a sequel!

Anyway, I just want to keep this topic alive.
