Speaking of which Bandit, do we know exactly what changes have happened to Zelda in this Final-ish version? Any tips etc.?

Sure, here's a quick run down.

Jab is sped up. About 7 frames now instead of 11.
Ftilt has been sped up and hits sooner.
Fsmash & Usmash are practically inescapable.
Usmash range is still lowered and cannot hit any platforms on any stage. FF aerials can hit through it (like falco dair). Anti-air is now what it used to be.
Nair hit boxes and range have been enlarged. Abuse this. Auto-cancel fun.
No free fall on Dins.
Fair's hitboxes have been enlarged to allow for easier sweetspots. Bair is still superior.

All the stage boundaries are changed. There is no magnifying glass on the neutrals (basically). If you go off screen at all, you die.

Luigi's Mansion should be legal. The middle part is no longer solid and you can fall through from the 2nd floor to the 1st floor.

Peach has no chance against Zelda with the new nair. Ike is beaten because he can't fair camp the new nair. Jigglypuff is disgusting in that game, G&W still counters her along with Marth.

Yeah, I went toe to toe against the project leader on multiple occassions about getting it changed back.

It was deemed "over powered" and "broken," so I couldn't do anything about it.

Just word of advice: never Usmash into a shield. It will not poke, and you will be open for a shield grab.

Hello Zelda boards! My name is Junglefever and I help moderate the Smashboards Information Center. At the SIC, we are attempting to create a mentoring program for older and newer members to go to so that they can progress in their smash career on a more personal level than just SWF. Mentors communicate to their pupils through PMs and AIM, in addition to playing WIFI with each other. We believe that the Mentoring Program is a good addition along with the character boards to help members get better.

So what do i need from you guys? I need a couple volunteers from your character board that are willing to mentor pupils one on one and help them get better at their desired character.

For any interested, please PM me the character you are interested in mentoring in, and what exactly you can bring to the table. How long have you been a Zelda main? Do you go to tourneys? Do you have access to wifi? What achievements have you earned in your time smashing?

Yeah, and it ruins the usmash's ability to shield poke.

It's a shame too because she has a lot more going on for her in the game than in vBrawl.

Almost nobody came to get autographs today. In fact, the only autograph Zelda had to sign today was to a non-Zelda main Based on representation being Zelda's biggest problem though . . . I guess we weren't terribly surprised. It was your loss though, Zelda and I enjoyed sushi and bubble tea at the autograph kiosk all day.


Since she had all the free time though, she gladly made out an autograph for GodAtHand before she left.

At first, when Kyle told me that he was supposed to get me to sign an autograph for somebody else, I was incredulous that he hadn't come here himself. After all, if he respects me enough to ask for my autograph, he should come here himself to retrieve it. But, then, Kyle told me that the reason that you had not come by to pick it up yourself was because you were to be representing your glorious princess, Me, Zelda of Hyrule, in battle at a brawl tournament.
