Zero Suit Samus + People Playing Brawl!

As we reported not long ago Nintendo Power skipped over Zero Samus. Except that they actually <em>didn’t. </em> That’s right, Zero Suit Samus did have an article, except it didn’t really add anything we didn’t already know (except that aparently Samus is known for wearing <em>skin tight clothing.</em> They wouldn’t say that to Samus’ face, I can tell you that)

Hideo Kojima of the Metal Gear Series fame has been doing his own online radio show. <a href="http://mp.i-revo.jp/user.php/kp-ryan/attach/95">His latest episode</a> also had him taking about Smash Bros Brawl with good ol’ Sakurai.

They aparently have been playing the game together, Sakurai as Mario and Kojima playing as Snake. Kojima says the game feels “very complete” and that if Nintendo released it now, they’d sell millions of copies.

Does this mean things are getting close to finalised? Or is this going to be like most Nintendo games where things are almost finished, then stay in development for another few months getting fine tuned? Could we maybe, at the very least, see a demo of Brawl at E3?

Also in regards to the matches they played, Kojima jokes about how he couldn’t bring himself to beat up Mario out of respect for the character. Is this true, or is it just that he’s not very good? ;)

Either way, as soon as we know anything else about Brawl, we’ll be sure to let you guys know.

So it’s reasonable to expect it to be released this year, unless Nintendo holds off for marketing reasons (Mario and Metroid are also due by the end of the year so things could get over-crowded for Nintendo if they are all three ready to go at the same time).

RELEASE NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sorry had to get that out of my system. i think they will be releasing the game soon considering they already delayed it once and they need a really good game for the wii out.

“Iwata revealed at the press conference that Nintendo is currently developing 45 Wii titles and 79 DS titles.

The president clarified that he’s not sure if all these games will necessarily see release. However, the number does include some of the big Wii games that are set for release between the end of summer and fall, including Super Mario Galaxy and Smash Bros.” - IGN

Very interesting. So this could possibly mean that we may see Brawl before Winter!

There is an article on www.ign.com that says Brawl will be released in 2007…in Japan. Along with Galaxy and Corruption and alot of their heavy hitters. Guess we’ll just have to wait to see if they’re going to release the games around the same time or not.

I wouldnt really reguard this or the last post as news really…

I reckon something big is gonna happen this month though, and i never estimate things like that. So i must be right then.

i think its great to hear that kojima is playing the game and seeing how it is going cos you know that snake will be a good player.

Why can’t they just at least show us screens of some of the new chars, stages, and modes. It’s driving me insane that they stopped giving out info like what I typed above.

Tomorrow (May 10th) it will be one whole year since the announcement of Brawl.

I’m thinking, while it probably won’t happen, it would be nice to get some new information or release date announcement or something on that day.

hey guys. i know this is random but do you know who nights is.because that guy is a fruity fagbag. he looks so freakin gay i thought he was a nintendo character dedicated to michael jackson.here ,go to www.nintendo-play.com. where it says latest additions it will show a gay purple guy with his hands holdind an imaginary flute.(you see how gay he is)you got to wait for his picture to show up because its a slideshow.

yeah. hes in it. in a video it shows a couple of characters that will be in it .they showed fox in the video.dont worry hes in it.

hey fire fox, go to http://www.smashbros.com for proof of fox being a character. That website way more information (characters, items, stages, modes, music, videos etc). Masahiro Sakurai gives a piece of information everyday. Today he told that Samus was a playable character. I thought if there is a zero suit Samus they wouldn’t have Samus Aran in her suit too.
But anyway check it out, its pretty cool.

If you read more carefully, it just says as samus aran on the NES in 1984. That would be the original metroid. The next line states the first time in zero suit, which was 2004.

Oh, and you bumped a 1 year old thread...
