As kind of a Gandrayda fan (well, more than most anyway), I would be starstruck if something like that actually happened as a ZSS alt costume. Gandy would totally make sense too with the way she maneuvers around and such, and has a lot of the finesse and athletic ability that Samus has. And yeah, it would be funny if she borrowed them outfits, albeit silly.

Nintendo aren't going to exclude one of their primary markets just so you can get yourself off to Samus in a thong. It's a ridiculous argument and it's not going to happen. It's a mass-market game, not a softcore porno. Not going to happen.

And those same children also play first person shooters after they come home from school, which they most likely play more than Nintendo games anyway. And Nintendo is the same company that funded Bayonetta 2 and revealed it live in a Nintendo Direct, all for the family brand right?

Metroid and Fire Emblem are usually T rated games. This game has Mario, Kirby, and Pokemon, games which always get an E rating. If you're going to make a crossover fighting game with characters from both T and E rated games, you're obviously going to keep the older content to a minimum.

But bayonetta is a 3rd party character from a separate franchise, with that logic why don't we have a rayman palette swap for mario

Eh, I would rather just have Gandrayda as an Assist Trophy. When summoned, she could randomly transform into one of the players in the match and fight for a while. That, in mine opinion, would be a much better way to represent Gandrayda.

I'm trying to see what point you're making, but I keep coming up short. A reference to another game in the form of palette swaps is hardly unheard of in fighting games. Yes, even 3rd-party ones.

I thought that was Ditto's role.Since we already have Dark Samus as an AT as is, I'd still prefer IsmaR's idea, but to each their own.

Yeah, I'd like some of the ending outfits at least as recolors. They could totally work as alternate costumes as well. I could see that blue one, as well as the Zero Mission orange colors/outfits working, and then a black recolor. Maybe even a Justin Bailey recolor with the green hair.

Also there's no way they'd do this, but here's a recolor based on Anna from Fire Emblem: Awakening...
