alright I am going to get off my chest my points on geno here, since at the geno thread you get your head lobbed off for saying anything but "geno for brawl!". also I wanted to get in before locked.

A. I dont dislike geno personaly, I just didnt like how his fanbase came out of nowhere here, it seems a little too sudden if you ask me.

1.geno is a main character but not THE main character. the game is named super MARIO RPG. not super GENO RPG. also on the cover mario is in the center, and mario is also the one character you have to use, geno can be switched out of battle.(and no I dont care if a whole buch of people used him in their team.) so dont go saying geno played the biggest part, as he acted more like the voice of mario and the team.(you see this happen often in nintendo games since they have so many silent protagonists) he did play a big part story line wise, just dont go saying he was the Main character.

2. just because geno was a big player in SMRPG doenst mean he was the one who set the standard and path for the paper mario series. it just seems like alot of people are trying to say that. and yes SMRPG was the one that started the series, but people still seem to blow it out of proportion.

3. I keep seeing people bring up the reapareing of the star road thing, if geno is so important to the stars and the series, then why didnt he apear in paper mario or Super paper mario? yet he was able to apear in a cameo in that one mario game(I forgot its name)

4. if you ask me, it seems the SMRPG set more or less the guidelines to the series were geno had a cameo and Mario brothers partners in time.

5.I think geno would make an excellent AT, as for PC....he wasnt as hugely important to the series as a few other canidates(for some reason people think he was one of the most important characters to mario in general) so if there is room for him I think he could work. but he just doesnt seem like he should outprioritize a few others.

Mario is the star franchise of Nintendo's. Him having a bit more characters than every other one, doesn't really matter much. When you think about it, there are really not as many Mario reps as you think, considering Wario and Yoshi both represent their own series.

Geno as an AT is simply impossible. Nintendo would NOT approach Square-Enix for just an assist trophy.
