This thread applies to you if you:

1.) hate Geno.
2.) think he'd make a terrible, foolish and ******** playable character for brawl.
3.) hate Geno more exceedingly than choice one implies.

I hate him because he is an obscure SIDE character from an old, forgotten Nintendo game. He was so random. It's like one day a person was bored and said "How bout Geno for brawl?". Everybody blatantly jumped on the bandwagon because they were afraid of being left out, eventhough they knew it was a stupid idea.

ZORYA DOESN'T CARE!!!

Geno is so waack..so yeah this thread is for us...;)

I can defend myself against anyone.

Geno is obscure and you ALL KNOW it... and vesper, remember that Takamaru is Nintendo's FIRST samurai. This is a Nintendo's ALL-STAR game and that qualifies him. Geno, how is he an ALL-STAR at all??? one thing I ask you...

Geno was one of the main characters in Mario's first RPG, which set the basis for pretty much every one you see on the market today. And don't pull that side crap, if anything Geno was just as important to the game as Mario was; notice the title of the game. Legend of the Seven Stars - Geno repairing the star road.

Takamaru is Nintendo's first samurai who MAIN CHARACTER'D his own game...Geno=side character to Mario. He isn't really a Nintendo ALL-STAR in any regard.

Plus, there is only ONE official Geno picture on the WHOLE d*** internet.. come on now..

He's from an old Mario game that everyone's forgotten...so yeah...obviously that explains why TONS of people know/love him as a character...you're making this thread to start a flame war, if you don't like Geno, say it on the Geno thread, don't start a new one to fight on your home turf.

And how is Geno any more obscure then Sukapon...a Japan-only character from ONE game? (One less then Geno even...)

Umm...yeah Luigi and Krystal'd done hell of alot more for Nintendo than Geno has...I can walk to any video game addict and I'd bet they'd recognize Luigi and Krystal WAY more than they'd recognize your beloved doll..

Geno was part of the first Mario RPG which set the basis for every Mario RPG you see out there today; Superstar Saga, Paper Mario, you name it. That's pretty **** important in my eyes.

They'd recognize that because those are current games.
If Pit, Takamaru, and Sukapon were not mentioned in Smash Bros., half the people on these boards would not know who they were.

Another logical fail please?

Geno was in two games, and I admit that he is popular, but why, may I ask, has he not had a role in anything after SMRPG despite his popularity? Because Nintendo isn't interested in keeping him around. And his popularity has nothing to do with anything anymore, given that They've ATd character like Stafy, Goroh, and Waluigi, who would be playable if ATS did not exist. Therefore, I speculate that despite his popularity, Nintendo would most likely not be very interested in making him a character and will therefore become an AT, if anything.

Ah yes, one more thing: I LOVE THE ONE WHO MADE THIS THREAD.

Well if you just go there to say "Geno sucks" then thats spamming but if you say why you dont like geno anymore then that is not spamming. There are no need for threads like these. which is why the Anti megaman thread got locked.

Whoa, you guys do not know a THING about Geno I can see.

Geno is owned by both Square and Nintendo, therefore Nintendo just can't go throwing him in every game they want to. Paper Mario 64 was to be SMRPG2, but Square and Nintendo had a big dispute so they slowly broke apart. Nintendo wouldn't approach Square Enix for just an AT. His popularity is the only thing keeping him alive, as you can notice, it's been a long 11 years yet he's still being mentioned.

And he still hasn't appeared. Meaning, getting Geno from Square is a challenge and therefore his chances are slimmer than most people think.

Key words. Square apparently doesn't want Geno pulling big jobs for Nintendo. Seeing that he is so popular, why didn't they give him a larger role?

Oh btw, where is Geno is Superstar Saga I can't find him.
