Down Tilt Tumbles (Complete)
This section will be all about percentages when Dtilt causes the opponent to be put in tumble which gets us the easy jab lock confirms for whatever we want.
For an early fun fact before getting into this section we can put everyone except Shield Shulk into a tumble/tech situation when we have max rage and the opponent is at 0%.
Anyways with that intro out of the way, there will be Strong hit (S), Medium hit (M) and Weak hit (W) of a Fresh Dtilt. So remember to have Stale Moves on in training and reset to make the stale move unstale.
The Rage % indicates the amount of Rage Yoshi needs to make a 0% opponent go into tumble. For every 1% the opponent has, you need 3% less rage to make the opponent tumble.
6.3% Strong Hit, 5.6% Medium Hit, 5.0% Weak Hit for 1v1 multiplier and stale Moves On. If you're forgetting to turn stale moves on the base damage output is 5%/4.5%/4% From strongest to weakest so again don't forget to turn Stale Moves On.
Down Throw ~ Up Air
As we all know, in Smash 4 we had a pseudo Dthrow UAir on some of the cast that was true if they were fast fallers, or a 50/50 depending on the opponents DI and %. This segment will be for finding exact % when everything starts or stops working, if it works at all and who it's guaranteed on. Testing all this will be easier too now that Training mode is a lot more accessible and being able to turn stale moves on/off along with weaker rage and not getting messed up by WBKG.
1st and 2nd Hit of Back Air
With the slight revert of Smash 4's horrible Bair to being Melee/Brawl multihit speed, but keeping the properties of Smash 4's first two hits and having a lot less endlag, digging deep into this move for what can combo on who will be really interesting. Again fall speed will be a factor in this but not as major as D-throw thankfully.
DAC Applications
MSC came down from the mountains and dropped a bomb for everyone. For now using this for reverse Nair and extending combos will take some time to think up, but this is still a very good tech to try out for Bair with it being a kill aerial now.
Double Jump Armor Strength
As most of us know, our Heavy Armor has been reverted back to being Subtractive Armor from 64/Melee. The KB threshold for Yoshi is still 120 units to break it.
This section is to hopefully find someone that can do this and grab a couple of others to help them figuring out the tolerance of DJ armor and knowing when we should directional Airdodge to hopefully live offstage as many of us have 2 games/10 years of the previous heavy armor ingrained into our systems.
While the KB formula is still the same the last few games, the KB numbers for nearly every character is still unknown. So this section cannot be worked on just yet.
Egg Combos and Egg/Aerial Defense
Egg into Uair or Fair is pretty common for us at kill percents past 100, but the exact % and hitstun they're stuck in we never really labbed.
The other part of this section is finding out what Eggs lose to now, since either Sakurai and team nerfed the priority on Eggs or the two hitboxes it had made it win against a lot more moves than it straight up losing like it does now.
What moves beats projectiles is another thing that can be worked on too that was done way back when and is most likely more important now than ever since we only have one airdodge to spare.
As an example, Snake's Nikita is scary good and fast now but hitting it with an aerial makes it inactive for 55 frames (50-60 frames, somewhere around here) so figuring out what aerial beats it but doesn't explode in our face can help us out.

Jab Lock Setups
A change in mechanics Smash 5 brought is every character in the game being able to jab lock by simply Jabbing them. This along with being unable to pass by people you can jab once, run forward by shoving them closer to a blastzone slightly, jab again or do anything out of 1st Dash to kill people earlier.
This section however will be covering the characters that's too small sometimes or characters laying much too low for the changed/nerfed hitbox Yoshi's Jab1 received that avoids getting hit at times. All that needs to be done is timing difference when they bounce, our momentum, or the direction they're facing when hit. Of course listing the characters it works on too but mostly important for the negatives of this small perk.
Bair / Fair / Nair Untechable Stage Spike %
In Smash 4 untechables was an RNG mechanic onstage past 100% or offstage was being too close to a wall for untechable to happen. (And select stages having actual untechable walls)
However in Smash Ultimate this time around. Onstage we can tech every time except spikes when standing on the ground or too much KB from a spike while airborne onstage, while for offstage the impact indicator will be black/red when you're unable to tech a wall.
To circumvent the untechable situation you need to hold down to decrease the KB of whatever move hit you into the stage. So what we'll be looking at is what the % threshold will be for when this happens when the opponent does no DI and holding down. Possibly holding Up too but most likely leave that out since they'd be killing themselves earlier if they hold up while using UpB.

Down Throw ~ Up Air
As we all know, in Smash 4 we had a pseudo Dthrow UAir on some of the cast that was true if they were fast fallers, or a 50/50 depending on the opponents DI and %. This segment will be for finding exact % when everything starts or stops working, if it works at all and who it's guaranteed on. Testing all this will be easier too now that Training mode is a lot more accessible and being able to turn stale moves on/off along with weaker rage and not getting messed up by WBKG.
Will confirm myself or from others if these are the true fall speeds after Dthrow (or any throws for that matter) so testing Uair afterwards can have legitimacy to it.

With the slight revert of Smash 4's horrible Bair to being Melee/Brawl multihit speed, but keeping the properties of Smash 4's first two hits and having a lot less endlag, digging deep into this move for what can combo on who will be really interesting. Again fall speed will be a factor in this but not as major as D-throw thankfully.

MSC came down from the mountains and dropped a bomb for everyone. For now using this for reverse Nair and extending combos will take some time to think up, but this is still a very good tech to try out for Bair with it being a kill aerial now.

Double Jump Armor Strength
As most of us know, our Heavy Armor has been reverted back to being Subtractive Armor from 64/Melee. The KB threshold for Yoshi is still 120 units to break it.
This section is to hopefully find someone that can do this and grab a couple of others to help them figuring out the tolerance of DJ armor and knowing when we should directional Airdodge to hopefully live offstage as many of us have 2 games/10 years of the previous heavy armor ingrained into our systems.
While the KB formula is still the same the last few games, the KB numbers for nearly every character is still unknown. So this section cannot be worked on just yet.

Egg Combos and Egg/Aerial Defense
Egg into Uair or Fair is pretty common for us at kill percents past 100, but the exact % and hitstun they're stuck in we never really labbed.
The other part of this section is finding out what Eggs lose to now, since either Sakurai and team nerfed the priority on Eggs or the two hitboxes it had made it win against a lot more moves than it straight up losing like it does now.
What moves beats projectiles is another thing that can be worked on too that was done way back when and is most likely more important now than ever since we only have one airdodge to spare.
As an example, Snake's Nikita is scary good and fast now but hitting it with an aerial makes it inactive for 55 frames (50-60 frames, somewhere around here) so figuring out what aerial beats it but doesn't explode in our face can help us out.

Jab Lock Setups
A change in mechanics Smash 5 brought is every character in the game being able to jab lock by simply Jabbing them. This along with being unable to pass by people you can jab once, run forward by shoving them closer to a blastzone slightly, jab again or do anything out of 1st Dash to kill people earlier.
This section however will be covering the characters that's too small sometimes or characters laying much too low for the changed/nerfed hitbox Yoshi's Jab1 received that avoids getting hit at times. All that needs to be done is timing difference when they bounce, our momentum, or the direction they're facing when hit. Of course listing the characters it works on too but mostly important for the negatives of this small perk.

Bair / Fair / Nair Untechable Stage Spike %
In Smash 4 untechables was an RNG mechanic onstage past 100% or offstage was being too close to a wall for untechable to happen. (And select stages having actual untechable walls)
However in Smash Ultimate this time around. Onstage we can tech every time except spikes when standing on the ground or too much KB from a spike while airborne onstage, while for offstage the impact indicator will be black/red when you're unable to tech a wall.
To circumvent the untechable situation you need to hold down to decrease the KB of whatever move hit you into the stage. So what we'll be looking at is what the % threshold will be for when this happens when the opponent does no DI and holding down. Possibly holding Up too but most likely leave that out since they'd be killing themselves earlier if they hold up while using UpB.
