Just a couple of days ago I had the huge misfortune of getting caught cheating on a test for the first time. Ironically, it was also the very first time I had attempted to cheat in college...

Long story short, I had written a few tiny formulas on a small index card as a result of not preparing for my math test well enough. I hid it in the sleeve of my jacket and would cautiously slide it out to get a peek at the formulas whenever I needed them. About half way through the test, I had gotten so used to seeing the formulas that I didn't even need to look at them anymore. However, I had gotten so comfortable that I completely forgot the slip of paper was even in my sleeve. See where this is going? A little while afterwards my careless, idiotic self decided to get up and blow my nose. While I was walking towards the tissue box right next to the teacher's desk, the slip of paper fell RIGHT next to the teacher. I freaked out so hard when I saw my teacher stare at it and pick it up. I had heard that the consequences for cheating were MUCH more severe in college than in high school. I was thinking I would end up getting suspended for a semester or something.

To wrap things up, I only ended up receiving a 50 on the test without any additional consequences since my teacher personally knew me and understood that I was usually a good student. Looking back on that moment I've decided to never resort to cheating on a test again, because I could have gotten expelled. Getting expelled is NEVER worth a few extra points on an exam. I recommend that the rest of you follow suit.

Well that's my story. What about you guys? Have you ever been caught lying, cheating, or stealing? If so, what's your worst instance where you were?

In second grade my brother who was in kindergarden went on a field trip to the zoo. My mom had asked me to ask my teacher if I could go (I never asked), and the morning that the field trip was, my mom asked me if I was going. I said I was going and that I asked, had a good time, and then next day my teacher asked where I had been. I said "I don't know."

Then my teacher called my mom and my mom found out and my teacher yelled at me and I cried and my mom made me write "I will never lie again" 1000 times.

Yeah that is all pretty vivid for me.

I remember a Middle school incident where I forged a signature (well my friend did it for me) and went on a field trip because I had forgotten to ask my parents to sign it before the day arrived. It was a "show the signature and you can go" thing, which enabled my hubris. So I went on the field trip, had fun, and then the next day my parents had a hold of it in their hands asking me who wrote on it. I had left the permission paper in my pants pocket when I put it in the dirty clothes hamper and they were washing clothes.

I also remember writing on a desk-seat spanish answers because I hated that class with a muy fiery passion (I think that is one of the few words I remember O_O) so I could look down at the edge of my seat while standing up straight. The next test came by and she said something along the lines, "I know 'some people' were writing answers on their desks before the test was handed out, so we are all going to swap seats while we test." No one said anything, so it could have been someone else, but I remember trying to not make even the slightest reaction haha.

I rarely lie, and when I do you bet your *** I'm not gonna get caught.

I mean I could think of times I got caught, but they were on such minor things it's not really worth mentioning.

"You like tha tboy don't you"
"No"

*caught making out*

"Liar"

that's about the typical scenario.

Lying to people about romance is important.

Aside about lying on who ripped one in the car and whatever teran said, I'm so good at lying and cheating I've never been caught once. I'm so good at it that all of last year I took out my phone in front of the teacher during tests and she never told me **** when she saw me using an online calculator on it

"You guys aren't going to smoke weed are you?"
"Duh, no, I'm not THAT irresponsible."

And then she sees me standing outside of the coffee shop.

Never really cheated on any tests. Either I'm ready for them or I'm not and I take the bad grade.
Lying I got over for the most part by high school.

In high school I was caught plagiarizing on an essay. I didn't feel bad about it, and the teacher knew I was going through some pretty extenuating circumstances at the time so she was disappointed but not really surprised. Even though my parents tried to tell me the whole "it will go on your permanent record" story, I was beyond caring about what happened since things were tough at the time. I got a zero on the essay, so I ended up with a B+ in the class, instead of the A I would have had otherwise.

I've never been caught cheating during a test, but if it happened I would admit it and get it over with. I'm fully aware and ready to take the responsibilities of my actions.

Where people get NOTHING.
When my mom saw me sitting on the bench at the state police barracks waiting to be picked up for DUI. Told her I'd never drink and drive and even though it was to avert my sis's fiance from getting his *** handed to him by all my friends for his drunken prickishness, picking fights with everybody. He called the cops on me when I took him home. Almost a year later I am just starting to face the legal repercussions of my actions...the stupidity and the shame though..that's an on going thing and has been since that night.

That is pretty damn crafty.

I never lie to anyone except my parents/family.

They dont need to know exactly what I do.

Sonic, although what you did was pretty stupid in the legal sense, and maybe even the practical sense (I'd have no issues talking down friends of mine from responding to ******tery, even if they too are drunk and belligerent), but I wouldn't let moral shame or anything else keep you down about it. You did it, at the end of the day, to protect someone from bodily harm. This is one of the rare instances where I'd say you were more in the right than the wrong for DUI

EDIT: aw man, ***hat is censored now

it's also impossible to prove that purple unicorn squid people don't exist

gee, I guess that means those things MUST exist!
Well, why was it necessary for him to specifically say Karma doesn't exist in the first place?
