I understand.

I like the beat and realness in particular, and not necessarily the video and lyrics.

Especially not the video.

i dont F with west coast, they are wack imo
aye yo, blu and fashawn are legit >_>

of course, EC>WC as far as overall rap is concerned, but west has some talent.....though i could only name 2 that i like

on another note, i find that i'm really lacking on hispanic rappers which is upsetting half my dna. i mean i know a lot of them are trash but....all i got is like joell and pun lol

West coast rap does have an interesting underground scene, but has been ridiculously lacking in any mainstream presence whatsoever outside of the every now & then Snoop Dogg shenanigans. It's almost as if they still haven't recovered from 2pac's death or something. Pac Div is pretty good...

Speaking of Nas I absolutely cannot wait for distant relatives to drop. A collab between him and Damian Marley seems like such a good fit.

Also Big L is the Chuck Norris of hip-hop

^ really? i mean that's a great song and all and the Lost Tapes album was too dope to be some throw away tapes >_> but that seemed so random for a favorite lol

why? should someone's favorite only be One Mic or NY State of Mind?
......no? i just wouldn't think that one of someone's favorite song's by NaS is a track on an album which he considered a compilation of throw away tracks.

don't get all defensive.

Whoever was looking for Hispanic rappers check Immortal Technique. He's a monster.

Old WC was amazing but WC is basically irrelevant now.

And YES I want that D Marley & Nas too. Marley is really sick.

Agreed, Immortal Technique is great. And then of course Big Pun is the best hispanic rapper ever. Also Joell Ortiz has a few decent songs.
Joell is hungry all the time : ) I forgot i have technique on my playlist too. forgot to mention him. i hope he comes out with another album soon. 3rd world was disappointing in comparison to revolutionary vol. 2. that album was a beast.

Agreed, that was by far his best album.

Really Jane? lol

Producer, member of Little Brother. I like his work, although I've never listened to a Little Brother album. Heard good things about The Mintrel Show. I like his work with Skyzoo on that mixtape awhile back.

But Alchemist>>>>>
