World of Light Piranha Plant

Hey guys, I’ve yet to download Piranha Plant, but I must know, is he playable in World of Light? I kinda wondered what Nintendo would do for DLC, so I must know if I can use him and how to unlock if I need to.

Both. I've tried a normal file and new game+ and they both will tell you the same.

I read that you must free 10 fighters to use Plant.
