Wizard's Foot is crazy good

Has anyone realised how good Wizards Foot is for mix-ups? It's a reliable kill move past 100% on most of the cast (if not all) and if at lower percent's you can hit them with it it will know them off-stage putting them in a very bad position for an easy kill. It has pretty good range and even though it gets weaker the further it goes it's still a strong move. If your opponent is spacing correctly or dash-dancing it can totally throw them off as they probably won't expect it.

Anyway I just wanted some peoples thoughts on this.

I'm pretty sure its power is consistent throughout the move, actually.

And using it when they're dd-ing and spacing correctly is actually the worst time to use it. That's when a good opponent will be looking for something as commitment heavy and punishable as wizkick.

It's really good for tech situations, though, especially at the times you outlined, because it covers so many options at once and if they're high enough to be put offstage by it that's a great setup for you, especially if you catch them with a later part of the move, so that you have fewer recovery frames relative to their hitstun frames.

The best "surprise!" use for it is probably against nonexplosive nontranscendant projectiles. If you figure out their pattern you can let them get complacent with it then wizkick through on a read (or reaction, occasionally) and due to its high damage and gear hitbox placement you can beat almost all projectiles in the game (maybe clank with only the chargeable ones? Not sure on their damage ranges, tbh...) letting you get a strong hit in while eating the projectile.

Wizard's Foot is awesome. It can cover character recovering above ledge. Pretty much destroy anyone teching near the ledge (as they have less options). You can use it as a way of landing if you ledge cancel it, and if you are random enough, your opponent wont expect it and eating your foot.
