With Anyone, Betting?

This is likely old information, but I have yet to hear it be discussed on the forums.

Well, in the With Anyone Update, we saw that when you select your stage, you select it with a "coin" with numbers on it. In Show Me Your News, that feature I believe was dismissed (correct me if I'm wrong, sorry). However, I think that his feature will be used to wager coins on online matches. It'll add an incentive for people to face foes online, if it is exclusive to online that is.

There is absolutely no proof of that being the case, but I would love to be able to bet coins. I probably have millions upon millions of coins in Melee that go to waste.

Oh, my bad! In that case, that would actually be pretty awesome. Still, 1 coin for 1 match is really low...Sakurai was probably just demonstrating. I think 50-coin matches would be pretty fun.

Each player gets a vote as to which stage they want to play on. You happen to vote with a coin that appears to be unrelated to your overall coin collection. That's kinda what is meant by "lottery"...

You wager your coins in Spectator. That's what's especially "exclusive" about it.
