Purpose:
This thread will serve as an index of all Peach knowledge threads / resources for future generations of players. It is a work in progress and we are still organizing/formatting it. Maintained by Quetzalcoatl Quetzalcoatl Vestboy_Myst Vestboy_Myst and members of The Peasearch Institute.

I want to be a peach only main but Im scared of puff, what should I do D:
There are a few reasons you shouldn't be afraid.

1) There is a group of people who think Peach vs Puff is not that bad. Certainly a hard matchup, but not nearly as bad as Armada makes it out to be. Among these people are KirbyKaze and DruggedFox, two well respected big-brains of Melee.
2) There are very few Puff players and most of them are bad. You will rarely run in to Puff players, and if you do, you can often just be a better player than them and win.
3) There is lots to be developed in the matchup. The matchup doesn't get played like ever on a high level. I'm not saying that Peach may have something that could drastically improve the matchup for her, but if the matchup were developed to a high level it would look drastically different. Given the low knowledge on the matchup, you can develop an advantage by theorizing/researching it yourself and gaining a relative advantage over Puff that way.
4) Anecdotal evidence. MacD doesn't perform too poorly against HBox who is 1 or 2 tiers above MacD. With improved skill and strategy, a good Peach could theoretically do way better. In my region between 2013 and 2015, Baka4Moe and S0ft would play a lot. Both are MIOM Top 100 worthy players. They traded sets constantly and S0ft is arguably better than Baka4Moe.
