Brawl will most likely be available by midnight the morning of February 10. Nintendo would be silly to do anything otherwise. I am banking on this. I am going to ask a few store reps around town and help them understand how crucial it is we know the answer to this.

Brawl's the biggest thing since Halo 3, so any other later date in North and South American realease date otherwise would be ******** by any company. They can consider it their big loss. And ya, my GameStop got Halo 3 on time, and had one of the biggest waiting lines in the state (or so I hear). >_>

You can probably go to your local Gamestop, Target, or other game retailer a few days in advance (around the 7th I'd say) and start asking for it. You might get lucky

I was in a GameStop today (central Texas area, roughly) and they had a release-date book lying out. I don't remember the exact text, but some key words did stand out since it was already on the Wii releases page. These are paraphrased, but I remember things like, on the same line...

"Super Smash Bros. Brawl SD Wi-Fi 2/10", then a few 'tabs' over, "2/7".

If I had to wildly guess, I'd say 2/7 may be a possible ship date, with 2/10 being the planned street date. May vary from location to location however. This is not "omg omg omg proof" of much of anything, just figured I'd toss it up for possible interest/relevance.

Of note, it was one of the few games that had a numerical date in its title entry. Most just had the game's name. Brawl had "SD", "Wifi", and a date; most others didn't.

(Again, plz 2 b not shooting the messenger; I didn't see anything super-sekrit and I'm not trying to present it as such.)

Asked a local gamestop adn they sounded pretty sure the tenth was teh shipping date...he was prob a dousche though

Since mail delivery is closed on Sundays,it'll probaly just be shipped on the 8th and be prepared for the 10th

Since Brawl is releasing on a Sunday like Pokemon Diamond/Pearl did. It will be available on that day since the game was shipped out a couple days before the weekend came.
