The game makes you reconnect controllers every time you enter VS mode
This game makes you reselect characters every time you enter and exit the rules screen
Customizing controls doesn’t allow you to turn on tap jump, and you cannot set several buttons to the same action (like having two buttons be shield). You cannot map taunt to dpad either
You cannot set yourself as an ai opponent, which means you cannot have 4 AI opponents fight each other. If you are playing with many people and someone turns themselves into the ai, everyone else’s controller gets disconnected.
The “ready to fight” banner blocks off some of the screen including P1’s team color, although if there is one thing this game is better than Ultimate at, you cannot click on it to start a match.
