BTW you say it has sold "massively" but under 1 million copies is not massive.Couple of other games represented in brawl have only sold around that much as it's an INSANE Hit in japan, Oh and sakurai helped work on M3 and the Mother 1 staff crew helped work on pokemon, Again sakurai has shown high interest towards the series now that M3 Is out and with Lucas being able to represent ALL Of the mother games another represenitive for it isn't so unprobable, Sure it might not happen and i'm not stating that claus is a shoo-in but again it has a very good shot at getting a second rep (The series altogether.) And claus is pretty much the only represenitive to fill that whole unless sakurai brings ness back (Which is unlikely.)

Anti threads = Fail, Again if your going to make a thread asking a question on why so many people support claus then at least don't make it sound like a flame, If your oging to make a flame then you should rather just be quiet.

I mean seriously there wasn't to much support for him up until about a month ago. Why do so many people support him? Earthbound/mother is a small small series anyways so why should lucas AND his stupid evil brother be in?

And stop assuming everybody in this thread is out to get you. I, for one, am not that adamant about Claus's inclusion. I vouch for him passively (same with Geno). It's just lame that you had to make a bloody hate thread and take space up on the boards. It would've been a better idea to actually get shot down in the Claus support thread for your opinion.

Sakurai mentioned claus? Prove it or it never happened. And seriously don't have a spaz attack just because I belive claus shouldn't be in.

All of us aren't having "spaz attacks" because you just don't believe he should be in. We're getting mad because you're basically calling an excellent character choice that would add more variety to Brawl. And Claus would honestly be a much better choice for Brawl than Ashley. I'm going to try and be as unbiased as possible.

Ashley has almost no currently existing moveset. Claus has a very wide variety of options. Just to name a few, Pig Army, Wings, Arm Cannon, Sword that controls lightning, great potential for taunts, and PSI. Lucas stole all his PSI from others, so that leaves Claus with even more options.

Now for Ashley; she's a witch. That would also bring more character diversity to Brawl. But, we haven't seen her do ANYTHING that could really be a moveset. Maybe her Up B move could be flying on a broomstick or something, but as of all existing Warioware games that exist (I think I've played them all), she has virtually no moves. Besides, a better choice would be Micaiah from Fire Emblem. Marth and Roy appear to be out, so adding her would give brawl 2 FE reps, the same number as the last game.

I'm honestly pointing out everything I see.

I really don't want Marth to be out personally, he would probably be revealed on the DOJO!! by now. But there's the case of Captain Falcon, or he may still be an unlockable. Its not just Marth and Captain Falcon - none of the vets who have ever been unlockable have been announced yet. Even obvious guys like Luigi and Ganondorf remain unannounced. Clearly, just not yet being announced does not mean they won't be in.

I was gonna let this thread die but I guess I'll respond. As a person who has never played Earthbound but has seen what it looks like. I have listed Claus in past post as a character I'm prety sure that will be in Brawl. Why? Well about a month ago was when we offically found out Lucas was goin to replace Ness. (Ness fans don't argue with me,this ain't about Ness so I don't wanna hear you comment on this statment)Anyway that was when I started not supporting as a fan but more like aknowledging him as a likly possibilty that he will indeed be apart of this game as a PC. Besides if it came down to it I'd pick him to be in the game more than Ness because I think Claus seems like a fairly interesting character and might add something a lil different to the roster. Unique characters are very much needed and I think(just think) Claus would be a great addition.

I don't know if anybody feels the same way but that's how I see it.

Claus isn't a fad.. I started supporting him DAYS after Brawl was announced. It's just that he's gotten MORE than enough support in the past months. Starmen, Nsider, Smashboards. Everywhere.

With the recent Dojo Updates, I'm pretty sure he WILL join the Brawl. There are many reasons, but I'm not gonna post them now, look around in the Claus Thread.

People should play a character's game before bashing them...

Most people who used to be neutral on him (including me) now favor him because of Ness' probable removal. And in fact, I dont know why I didnt prefer Lucas and Claus in the first place! Neither would be a clone of the other...
