Yes I understand Falcon is a rush down combo, disrespect character.

BUT, he has so much speed that he can camp right?

Or am I just wrong

His punish game is good and he has speed and can run away and space with bair

He just seems like a character that could camp.

If you guys disagree please explain because this is actually really buging me and id like to know if thats a style that is playable

On paper, that COULD work but Falcon benefits a lot more from pressuring his opponent. Aggressive Falcon is just better at putting the opponent in a disadvantageous state when he's in the opponents face. If he had sonic's spin dash then maybe he could camp but he has to spend more time setting up on his combos while Sonic can just go in. That's why Falcon is Falcon is a rush down character. He COULD camp, but like Little Mac, Fox, and all the other fast characters; that's not the optimal (or fun imo) way to play.

On that note, you don't actually want him to play like that do you? This game doesn't need any more boring (imo) defensive play in it.

He can if he gets the league. His neutral is good enough to make it happen.

The problem isn't the neutral it's that his terrible defensive game makes it easy for his opponent to come back.

He has no reliable tool to avoid getting juggled or edgeguarded, like a Diddy that could side b away the moment he's caught up in a bad position.

You can force people to approach when you have the lead, but you can't run away for a whole game.

For camping, the lack of a projectile makes it much harder to camp also, Captain falcon has terrible defensive game, as teluoborg teluoborg said above. Also, if the character, captain falcon in this case, does not have a projectile, he needs to have good retreating options.
The following characters might be interchangeable with zoning
:4samus:Has her amazing projectile game:4link:
:4villager:Can utilize moves such as bair and fair to camp and he can retreat to the ledge if necessary.
:4wiifit:Has good projectile game along with the ledge as an extremely good retreating option.
:4falcon:No projectiles that he can camp with. Decent retreating options.
