I get sweaty too. I guess it’s because of the tension of online play.

Drink less coffee.

You could also buy controller with in-built fans in the grips.

Put deodorant on your hands or chalk.

Super Smash Bros. is a very fast-paced game. It puts you in a situation where you need to constantly think about what manoeuvres to perform next in order to stay alive. It stimulates your senses, making your adrenal glands produce adrenaline. You need adrenaline to give you energy during stressful moments, such as during a fight.
Adrenaline prepares your body for physical activity, and physical activity burns a lot of energy. Therefore, adrenaline also activates your sweat glands, as sweating is your body’s mechanism to cool down.

… (All the sweatiness/BO is why I prefer to stay away from tournaments, or at least watch tournaments from a safe distance where there’s fresh air.)

Work towards getting your whole body sweaty when you play. If your hair and clothes aren't soaked after a set, you're simply not practicing hard enough.

I always end up with clammy hands and my right leg twitching when I am playing online, with friends or a tourny...I just avoid shaking any hands and just give them a pound. :p
