Why did they change Wario's Foward Smash?

This really confuses me, I know the PMDT is trying to make Wario's moves represent the Wario Land series. Fine, that's alright, but why did they change his forward smash? Okay, here's Wario's forward smash in Brawl:

This is okay, but Wario's Brawl forward smash was already inspired by Wario Land, so why change it?

There was visual overlap between his Forward-Smash and his newfound Side Special, which is a full-fledged Shoulder Bash. If you were looking for the personality and spirit behind his Brawl F-smash, I'd say it's still present and augmented in PM in the form of his Side-Special.
