Why are we not using the tier list!

What is the point of making a tier list and not using it? The whole point in having tiers is to take an unbalanced cast and divided them into smaller casts that ARE balanced. Eg A tier charaters are balanced with the other A tier characters and F tier characters are balanced with the other F tiers.

We have A tiers and F tiers. Why do the tornaments still ignore the tiers? Why are tornaments not divided into S level, A level, B level ect. Why did we even make the tier list if not for this? Did we make them just so low tier mains can boast that their character takes more skill? What is the point in that?

Meta knight didn't kill Brawl. Unbalanced casts are perfectly normal. Brawl was killed by fundamentally unbalanced rulesets and your own incompetence.

If our rulesets actually USED THE TIERS LIKE THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO BE USED IT WOULD FIX EVERYTHING PEOPLE HATED ABOUT BRAWL.

Nerfing all of the high tier characters and/or banning metaknight is not the answer. Just implement tier levels into the rulesets and all of the characters would be used making the game fair and more fun to watch.

Oh and PS if you think tripping and air dodging ruins the game you are an idiot.

Because it would divide an already small tournament scene and make life hell for the T.Os if they had to run 4 or 5 tournaments simultaneously. Tier lists are made to gauge viability not enforce tournament rules.

And that is why everyone and there brother mains metaknight. Because other characters are not worth their time. And it's your fault because you felt the need to tell everyone that.

No, everyone mains metaknight because any scrub can spend a weekend labbing and crush kids at locals.
He's too strong againt bad players.

Well I don't know about using the tier list like that, but you can use it to help you in certain match ups. Since I main Link, there are obviously going to be hard match ups, so I looked at the tier list, noticed that Marth is pretty good and then use him as a secondary for bad match ups.

Also the current tier list was poorly designed. It was made with very little Matchup knowledge in mind. The C+ and C- is also a mess. A new one needs to be made
