Why are perfect wavelands so hard in PM for Sammy?

You have a solid two frames to land it on most platforms in melee. But in PM a perfect waveland is either impossible or must be frame perfect. Maybe I'm just not testing and slowing it down right, it could be just me. What do you guys do in place of this, just a normal waveland? I'm used to perfect consistent wavelands so it's a little weird. Nothing majorly changing though.

It's 2 frames in PM as well, test every condition out in Debug mode to be sure.
