I really don't like the idea of King K. Rool in brawl. (Opinions, not facts, and I'm not pretending they are so please keep the flames to a minimum)
He is incredibly ugly (Not even in the same way Wario or the other villains are, but in a sense that a five-year-old could draw a decent picture of him.)
Secondly, he's a heavy weight villian king ... We have a lot of those. And he's also reptillian ... and we have one of those already too.
Now, I realize that neither of these would hinder his chances, but it's just my opinion.

... ok. i'll stop, but i don't understand how someone as mean as you doesnt get banned. if i get depression, you'll be the reason... oh wait. im already depressed. so, ur actually making me feel worse. so, get a grip on how others feel, and how the world doesn't get better by you making fun of me, then realize that you need to be nicer to people, and then they wont flame at you like i did. even though you will not get what some would call "enjoyment", you will have learned a valuable lesson about how people like to be respected, and if you respect them , they will respect you back, and think of you as a good person, and not an insensitive jerk. i know, you will probably make fun of me for this too. almost everyone in my grade at my school makes fun of me for just being sensible, not like them, even though they are CONSTANTLY getting detentions for acting like the idiots they are.

Tch...perhaps you should consider the fact that you're not the only one who's dealt with this...you have no idea what kind of **** I put up with in Middle School...I've been put in in-school-suspension after defending myself against bullies...I still look back and cringe at the way I was treated...I'm suprised I never even considered suicide after what I was put through...and it wasn't like people were rushing to help me either...I know I'm a douchebag, but I have feelings, too...I've turned into a battle-hardened jerk...sue me...
And I hope you don't expect EVERYONE to give you reasons K. Rool would be better as a boss only...I have no reasons either way, but that's because I'm neutral about him...if you want facts and reasons he should be in, check the Official K. Rool thread...
And one more thing...don't ask me for reasons 'til you give some good ones of your own...

Strange, i was just thinking about what a good boss K. Rool would be, and what do you know, a thread already exists on the topic.
Seriously, i've got nothing against the guy as a character, but unless there was a novel way of switching between the various versions of the guy, i just can't see him making an interesting character. He's got status, but i don't really see him becoming a unique, fully playable character.
As a boss though, sakurai has the ability to compensate for these flaws, as several battles could happen with the guy. It could be like an endurance test. Or, a character that doesn't really have many defining characteristics could avoid being completely played out. I think this game could have a lot of cool bosses. So far, not much noteworthy regarding bosses has been released. But, plenty of names that are in limbo of being included as playable characters could be made into interesting and enjoyable bosses.

well, sir(or madam, since i dont know if you are a male or female) im actually on medication, so i would greatly appreciate it if you would kindly lay off, please. im sorry you got an in-school suspension, but i got grounded by my parents because i had an out-school suspension. and you know something, i cry at night because when i was 5, my only living grandparent died. 2 years later, my babysitter moved. 1 year later, my french tutor moved... to oregon. all of those people were so special to me, i even cryed at school a couple of times because of it. 3 years ago two of my pet cats died ... a week apart. since i am an only child, my cats are like my sisters. i couldnt even go to school those two days. i have lived through so much death, i dont know what i would do if i lost my dear, dear mother. since i am also adopted, if i lost my mother, i would actually die of a broken heart. my mother and father are so special to me... i just can't imagine life without them. so just stop being a jerk, and lets get on with the topic, okay?

Rool has been repesented SO many ways, it would be a HUGE task to decide which version to put in, if he would put him in at all.

I'm sorry, but no one is trying to hurt you personally in this thread at all. It's just that generally when people make a thread they generally give good reasons for why they create. It's nothing against you, it's just the nature of this forum. Usually when an anti-thread is created, it gets closed because of the fact that it takes up more bandwidth and space on the board, and isn't necessarily needed. So once again for reiteration, these people have nothing against you, but they don't support or feel there was a need for the creation of this thread.
By the way, middle school is the worst. High school is where people start to really mature.

But what if say, all his forms where included in his moves? Meaning he could have the helicopter from DKC1 as his recovery, Musket as B, Boxing gloves yadda yadda. He'd have an EXTREMELY interesting moveset, and would be an undeniably fun heavyweight to play.
The thing is, we don't have alot of villains, or heavyweights, and DK has been underrepresented since the beginning, so my question is, why not please the game in alot of aspects? Same thing goes for Ridley, Metroid has been very underrepresented, villain, heavyweight, and I would honestly like to see both of the heavyweights added.
If you played DKC 1 + 2 + 3, and DK64, you would realize very quickly if all his personas were added into the moveset he'd be a VERY nice addition to the Brawl roster.

I will admit, I do feel bad for you...so I call a truce, and hope there are no hard feelings...I never meant any of this personally...I've just gotten used to flaming any thread that has a negative view on a character (even if I don't care for the character)...And I also hope that things improve for you...no matter what, it pains me to see a person go through that kind of stuff...

I think he'd be in his King K. Rool costume ( http://youtube.com/watch?v=MFo1DsBU8LA that one) As for coming up with a move list for him...that'd be really simple...Because K. Rool has so many different personas, Sakurai could EASILY make up a moveset using any of his attacks from any of his appearences. Like Cinder said, check out the offical K. Rool thread for a good move list and then see what you think.
