i was just wondering if they don't become playable!! They can become bosses but which character would be a perfect boss for the Subspace Emissary!!

I'd personally love to see Metal Sonic as a boss over any of those, but I'd say Eggman's more likely. The idea of Shadow as a boss is an interesting one. :/ I think he'll be an Assist Trophy, personally. And Ridley should be playable, but if not, he'd certainly make a great boss.

In short, Metal Sonic is my pick as best boss from those.

Edit: Something just occurred to me. Is this thread about SSE Bosses or the final boss of the SSE? I was thinking the latter of the two, if not, I would expect to see both Eggman and Ridley as I don't believe either will be playable.

i think ridley being a boss if hes not a playable is an absolute must in brawl. and i think that dr. eggman would be the best boss for the "sonic level" in adventure mode.

I'm pretty sure Ridley looks better as a playable character. I guess because Ridley has only been a boss, some few people can only imagine him as such. How close-minded of them...

There's never even a reason given. It's always 'I think he will be a boss.' Nothing to back it up, only pure opinion. He has all the makings of a playable character. Highly Requested. Popular. Important. Unique. The same can't be said for Petey Piranha or (possibly) Rayquaza. There's no way (or atleast a way as narrow as the minds of those who think he will be a boss) Sakurai would put Ridley on their level.
