Where to find in-depth info about melee stages?

Hello again! I was wondering if someone could direct me to a thread or video or anything that could help me better understand melee stages and which characters are best on each stage. I'd like to get into competitive smash but I don't know which stages have low/high ceilings and why exactly certain character are better on certain platform stages, etc. (honestly they all look the same to me!)

I do main Marth so information about his strong/weak stages in particular would be appreciated, thanks! :D

As far as which characters are best on which stages, there are general opinions, but it is largely based on your playstyle, your opponent's playstyle, your opponent's character, and both players' skill levels. Even at top level with PP vs. Armada, we have seen a lot of variety in which stages either player prefers from tournament to tournament. There is no clear answer for which stages you should pick. It is a complex and complicated process that you will have to think about critically.

This post is okay, but it doesn't do nearly enough justice to the information of the blast zones. I would like in depth analysis. The pictures are nice, but I can barely understand much from the pictures, they seriously look the same to me. Call me dumb, but I would need this to be explained. Also, of course there's more than just blast zones.

What information about the blast zones is that thread missing? I don't know what you need explained and am not sure what you can be talking about when you say there is more than just blast zones. There's really not that much to stages in this game. They have camera boxes, blastzones, item/player spawn points, and surfaces like floors, walls, and ceilings.

if u look at them one above the other u can clearly see the blast zones are smaller on some maps, the outside box is death the other is camera zone
