Where is the wii friend code located?

I wanted to join smash connect but don't know where my wii code is.

if you click your messages on the wii homm menu u go to register and your frind code sohuld be there

turn on your wii..... go to the messages thing (bottom right) and go to your address book

but doesn't brawl use friend codes? not wii numbers...
