I believe C. Falcon is already going to return. But where in world are the other SSB veterans Luigi, Jigglypuff, and Ness?

Just as long as they return, I wouldn't mind thatMaybe, just MAYBE, they will be unlockables like in the first game?? Just throwing it out there.
I've heard thousands of people say the same thing but never really believed them.WEll, obviously Ness is not returning. Lucas replaced him, as a more modern version. C.Falcon hasnt been announced yet... but he will return, and there is no way luigi wont return. As for Jigglypuff, i truly dont care for her.
*Gasp*1. Ness has been replaced
2. Luigi is getting hooked up with new moves
3. Falcon may be getting new moves
4. I don't care about Jiggly
Nah. Ganondorf would probably be better with a new moveset.hm meta just inspired a thought... wat if they give falcons old moveset and let ganondorf keep it, and change falcons moveset? that would completely suck...
B/c that so called "powerful thing" is a character I rarely use at all.*Gasp*
How could you not care about a powerful thing like that![]()
Oh, Okay. That explains it then. Just wonderingB/c that so called "powerful thing" is a character I rarely use at all.
I feel the reason for the vets other than Ness, is that they are giving them new moves(mainly Luigi)NONE of the unlockable veterans have been revealed yet. That's just how it is. It says nothing about whether they're returning or not. (Although we do have hints towards Ness's demise.)
True. I was just wondering, that's allNONE of the unlockable veterans have been revealed yet. That's just how it is. It says nothing about whether they're returning or not. (Although we do have hints towards Ness's demise.)
Well said, I couldn't have said it better myself, but if Captain Falcon gets new moves he needs to keep FALCON PUNCH!!!!!1. Ness has been replaced
2. Luigi is getting hooked up with new moves
3. Falcon may be getting new moves
4. I don't care about Jiggly
Brawl will change this though, b/c there might not be many characters I use in this game, but it won't mean I don't care about em.Oh, Okay. That explains it then. Just wondering![]()
I understand. It's just that there seems to be lots of people out there that seem to hate Jigglypuff just cause of its appearance in battle.Brawl will change this though, b/c there might not be many characters I use in this game, but it won't mean I don't care about em.
He was locked in SSB but not in Meleeand also that one guy slipped up and said luigi's name. but c.falcon wasn't locked at the beginning, was he? i dont remember...
And fanboys.....Captain Falcon - Hiding from the fangirls
Not saying all of his moveset has to be new, but he could recieve new abilities. And fanboys.....
Anyway, why would Captain Falcon get a new moveset? That makes as much sense as giving Fox a whole new moveset.
I don't think that many veterans will return with extremely different movesets. Ganondorf will, of course, and very likely that Falco will. Luigi will only be changed slightly I am sure. I mean, if anything, he is SUPPOSED to be at least somewhat similar to Mario. Marth will be nerfed (Look at Fox...) and several bottom tierers that return will get beefed up.
But really, only returning clones, in my opinion, will get full makeovers. Meaning Captain Falcon will be quite similar. He was not top tier and other than the knee, not overpowered in any way, just good to combo with. I figure the knee will get a tone down and that is it for him. Possibly some grab changes, but that is less likely.
Ness was a freaking beast in SSB64. It's only after SSBM that people stopped playing as him so much.
Now for Ness. Ness was also within the first Smash game, and not many liked him from my knowledge. His bat though, was quite useful. THAT's what I think most people want back, is a bat that stays with your character all the time. It was a nice hard hitter, hitting like the Homerun Bat, just not as powerful and always with Ness. I'm not too sure if Ness will be making a return in Brawl, but if he does, he'll most likely need a moeset change, for Lucas is far too similar.
I agree with this, but his chances are very slim.Ness was a freaking beast in SSB64. It's only after SSBM that people stopped playing as him so much.
As I had stated, it was only to my knowledge that he was rather unpopular. I myself have never owned the original Smash game, so I cannot experience him that well. The people I had played with didn't really like him all that much, which is what I had gone off of.Ness was a freaking beast in SSB64. It's only after SSBM that people stopped playing as him so much.
No it wouldn't, b/c knowing Sakurai, he'd only show one character and leave us with blank faces. Like so--->The best update ever would be "Characters From Previous Smash Games"
Wow, you're missing out...Anyways, Ness was really good. His yo-yo was actually really awesome, and since meteor smashes didn't have start-up lag, you could easily abuse it and perform combos. He was, I think, #3 in the tiers (Kirby was #2, and Pikachu was #1). He was greatly nerfed in SSBM, but he's still really awesome if you take the time to learn his combos. Seriously, he's better than most people think, but they don't have the patience to figure this out. They just use the bat, as you mentioned...As I had stated, it was only to my knowledge that he was rather unpopular. I myself have never owned the original Smash game, so I cannot experience him that well. The people I had played with didn't really like him all that much, which is what I had gone off of.
