At first, I planned on having my major on Game Design but I changed my major when I actually started college. My major is Administration of Justice. Back when I had attened AJ 111, the instructor gave a speech about what it means to go into law enforcement. Everything I felt was in sync with what he said. Not only that but my family's name is apprently famous in our county's law agency so I gotta keep the family name up.

The location I'm interning at for the 2nd time this summer pays (full time) about 48k a year + awesome medical benefits. As an Intern I make $15/hour. The company is UPMC (University of Pittsburgh Medical Center) if anyone knows what that is.

I'm hoping to land a full time job there, as they told me they would of offered me one last time if I was graduating then. I graduate in fall 12 this time, so I can accept an offer this time around.

I have backup plans if I don't get an offer: I still have the semester in the fall for job searching and career fairs. I'll apply to Disney again(interned with them in the past). Reason I haven't that again already:

A. Their internships are during school semesters, and I didn't want to delay my education any longer
B. I feel I have a much higher chance of getting the UPMC job than Disney.

What kind of careers can I go into with a math major?
Keep in mind that I was not a math or related major and have not worked in any related field, but from what I gather, a math degree is very versatile. There's teaching, obviously, but math majors tend to be sought after for pretty much any kind of analysis position, and it can also come in handy if you want to get into the finance world. You can also be an actuary, and if you want to stoop to the world of experimental/applied math, I've heard of many math majors who found homes in the physics and engineering worlds.

As for me, I was Molecular & Cell Biology. Unfortunately, there is just about nothing you can do with a BS in biology save for bottom-of-the-totem-pole lab tech gigs with zero upward mobility. I'm thinking of going for a Master's in engineering.

I'm currently undecided, but then again I'm a freshman so I guess it's natural...

So far I'm looking at something with foreign languages (Japanese or German), and or teaching. I have to go to a career counseling later this week though, so hopefully I can get a few more ideas.

Political Science and Classical Studies. I've always been interested in politics in general and recently started interning in political campaigns and really enjoy it, especially working at a local level with politicians.

Classical Studies is just to keep me sane tbh, I find it interesting and a nice break from just studying politics.

I'm an Electrical Engineer, though I kinda wish I chose to be a physics major.

Career goal now is to be a professor/researcher at a research university. A few years ago I just picked Computer Engineer because I wanted a degree that can do something.

Also, Unclesam cool to hear you like EM =D. That's my concentration in EE its so interesting.
