What's wrong with my aerial jump...

So I decided to test some things into Training Mode, and I found out that, after an aerial jump, Dedede can't cross a platform: he first lands on it, and then you're free to pass through. I believe it is a bug, since every multi-jump character could do this... Even Charizard, which is almost as heavy as D3.
I personally believe this is a bug and should not be there. Or was it intended?

DDD has to wait 45 frames after jumping to pass through a platform

I mentioned Charizard because he has the same in problem in Brawl, so I thought this could be a character-design feature. But in PM this doesn't apply, so... It would be cool if this issue with Dedede could be fixed. It's so annoying.

ik he has 6 frames of empty landing lag but it still doesn't explain it...
