What would you do if a huge EMP wiped out all electronics

I'd join a group of a couple of my friends, find a couple of firearms, and use strategies learned from the Boy Scouts, I'd have to adapt to the summer heat and rains that are common in South Florida. But, I have a plan worked out

Be extremely happy that money is no longer a thing either.

Next thing, build a fire.
Roll a joint.
Have sex.
Smoke joint.

And repeat this process as many times as I can.

Curl up and die. It's unfortunate that many people (myself included) living in our contemporary first world society have their lifestyles too intertwined with electronic media. I'd also likely have an emotional breakdown from being deprived of video games, Internet, and especially my writings. That being said, I'd have to find alternate methods of writing stories then. But it would be a lot harder to motivate me for them.

I suppose pen and paper, tabletop games, and interactive storytelling wold replace video games because of the technological barrier the world would be in.

Be thankful that I love tabletop games as much as I love electronic games.

But then I'd cry because organizing said games would be horribly inefficient. At least I would get in shape from walking everywhere.

After recovering from the initial shock and flood of tears from the loss of my beloved games? Probably try to meet up with one of the guys I went to college with, seeing as he was into the whole wildlife survival thing. Might've been a boy scout back in the day, but I'm far from capable of surviving in the wild on my own. With him on the other hand, I doubt I'd have any trouble at all.

I'd become a black smith making swords and crap as a hobbie, also make the iron throne from Game of Thrones and sit on it while hearing the adolescent teens screams in the distance since their beloved cell phones are obsolete.

I suppose I would have to learn to compose music solely with pen and paper.

Despite how intertwined technology is with our current society I really don't think this situation would cause a true dystopia. Things would be rough for a bit but we would make it back to the old ways before society crumbled.

Rural Michigan for me, at least. Water pumps will still work and as along as one has the knowledge of which plants to grow when (as well as what can be found and when) one can make it just fine without even needing to hunt (a benefit of living somewhere with long and cold winters is that many root vegetables stay perfect in the frozen earth and only need to be dug up for consumption).

I think it would be pure chaos if the withdrawal of technology was in a mere instance, because all governments would shut down, law enforcement would go to dirt, and goods will be the main thing to survive, seeing as money would have no value then.

Personally, I would go get a hunting rifle, a mountain bike, some survival supplies, a few of my friends and ride to the closes rural region in my area. I'll just stay there and try to hunt to get food, get water, until society gets a grip on going to a pre-monetary system.

This question is starting to remind me about NBC's Revolution. If this were to happen, I wouldn't know what the hell to do other than keep myself in good shape and proceed with caution.

I don't think it would be all that bad. The people who knew how to make the electronics would just start making\fixing them again, assuming we would still have the materials used to make them. (and the EMP isn't constant.)

We'd all end up trying to kill each other, exploiting other humans in anyway that could bring about our own benefit. You should watch Revolution it's a plausible but conservative depiction of what would happen to the human condition without electronics.

I feel your pain. In this instance, I wouldn't be able to write poetry or anything, and being completely deprived of my computer, I'd go completely bonkers.

That said, it's kind of funny... I'm more prepared for a Zombi apocalypses than this. XD
