What sets your Pit apart?

Well with all theses pit players out there what as a pit player sets you apart from them?
List 5 things that make your pit unique
I'll go first.


1. I usually play with the standard white color: well i figure that not a lot of people play in standard white so that's why i do because who would pass up being and emo play winged angel right?

2. Defense Hop: i do this technique where i jump then press down b at the same time so its like a rising shield, then i just continue doing that for the rest of my jumps, all in the air, and anyone throwing or shooting a projectile while i am coming there way it just reflects back at them. and its a good way to get some where safe

3. I glide obsessivly, i do it just for fun mainly trying to make an obstacle course out of the stage like on hyrule or the other big ones. its a lot of fun and i do it for meta game and to get to places i need to fast while making my opponent dumbfounded

4. Instead of running away i glide away on the ground by doing a short hop WoI then gliding on the ground and pressing and holding C stick up makes you go faster

5. I usually try to do the multi attack thing after the standerd A as much as i can because it reminds me of a chain saw chopping away very fast

1. Use green, cause its my favorite color and nobody else seems to like it
2. The ledge is my home, arrows, Uairs, WoI regrabs, nearly constantly
3. I combo any arrow loop i can into a ftilt, because it looks amazing has good knock back and is satisfying
4. I dont Nair as much as i should, only use it when aerial chaining
5. When im not chillin on the ledge i try to make my play as much like sagemoons as possible, cause i have a boner for how he plays

I also use Green whenever I play Pit.
When going for gimps, I play a lot like Meta Knight and dair.
I also use arrows sparringly, not as much as I should.
Oh, and I never glide.

1: Possible Arrow trick superiority

2: I use Up-B a lot... For the sake of the WoI mindgames that I love

3: He's the Gold Pit, not many ppl play gold Pit, or at least, from what I seen, black Pit is too common, then I see some green and blue ones.

4: I camp pretty well if i do say so myself, and it helps when I'm in trouble most of the time.

5: I use many different tactics, from being aggressive to being defensive. There are rare occasions where I wont use even 1 arrow in battle, usually when I try to humuliate the opponent, due to those ppl who complain about Pit's arrows too much. When they lose without me using an arrow, they got nothing to say.

Bonus: My Pit loves cupcakes :D

2: After somebodt knocks me out of my WoI i always Angelic Ring for last hope

lol i use all color pits dont see many people that do that they usually play as 1 color.
I love to use my arrows because it reminds me of bleach (quincy)

I try to rely more on punishment rather than actual offense to deal the damage since for Pit I use the mindset of "Don't get hit" rather than the "Kill them first" mindset.

My arrows are rather poorly controlled though they can still loop and be aimed.

I use Dsmash as my main damage racker instead of fsmash.

I stink at off stage guarding another Pit that WoI's unsafely back for some reason.. I am not the best at Pittos.

I enjoy using the faster moves rather than the slower moves even though it may take longer to damage rack simply because they are safer alternatives.

i always play white pit since i took a stock off of peteys mk when i switched from gold pit to white pit
i pivot grab in the worst possible times

-I try to play as smart and effective as possible yet i still make dumb choices
-I hate playing gay or spamming arrows so i try not to use them as much plus its funny when i win because they dont have a "you spam too much" John
-When playing Ice Climbers i will lose because i refuse to play gay lol
-I use Dsmash to rack up damage rather than Fsmash
-i glide and sidedodge too much lol

- I play as White Pit, for he is the sexiest.
- My style has a lot of variation in it, no two games are played the same
- I tend to glide a lot, mostly just for recovery purposes
- I don't use D-smash enough
- I haven't lost in 4 months
- I use F-tilt too much, but it works
- I like using my Mirror shield for those "What the f***!!" moments
- I like to yell "Fear the helicopter" when I use U-air

2. I use WoI for approaching which only a handful of Pits will do.great mind games
3.I run and shield cancel alot which isnt a bad thing
4.I arrow loop too much and i get punished for it.
5.im in the middle of gay spammer and agressive attacker.. it just depends on the matchup and what i need to do to win.

-I will spam arrows, but not in actual tournement.
-I love to slide with my Usmash across the stage.
-I almost don't grab. when I do it screws with your head.
-I don't play tournement level in friendly games, and for that I get told i am a worse player then i actually am.
-almost every spot dodge i do turns into an angelic step.
-I love to kill people with my arrows (they jump into the kill zone and I hit them with a perfect arrow)
- I have never gotten to play a pit ditto match
-I can do alot of the advanced techniques, but the only one you will ever really see me do is angelic step. I am a firm beliver in "I can but why would I want to?" I can loop 3 arrows around and drop them on someone, but why would I want to? I can angel ring till my opponent punches me in the face, but why would i want to?

1. I play as Blue Pit.
2. I am an arrow sniper. Have that smash ball out there and I'll arrow snipe it from across Hyrule.
3. I glide as opposed to Up-B's.
4. I live ridiculously long. With a usual minimum of 150% before a death.
5. I'm a jerk when it comes to dodging Ganan's/G+W/Zelda/Shiek/Pokemon Trainer/Mario/Bowser's final smash. I just glide under the level and Up-B back up. (Whenever possible.)

~I don't arrow spam unless if the opponent asks for it (kinda punishing)
~I don't grab much- I think it's kinda cheap (gay grabs during a Sudden Death)
~My Pit is usually blue or white
~I have never played online- may never I'm not sure
~My uair once I get it going is killer, same with nair
~I use my Angel Ring as a buzz saw when falling sometimes
~The CPU likes to molest-grab my Pit
~I can arrow loop, but it is more of a taunt for me
~My Pit likes Angel food cake :D

2. I never use the Black one!
3. I fast fall into glides
4. I use the d-throw to uair combo frequently.
5. I'm defensive!

1. Red Pit. Bloody red Pit.
2. No arrow loops, and if, then crippled ones^^
3. About 30 wingdashes per minute (Okay, about 15-20 is more realistic^^)
4. Running Usmash. I love it. For juggling.
5. Lots of DSmash to punish, but never to kill.

1. No wingdashing, I find it easier and more effective to just spot dodge then spot dodge again, roll, grab or attack to avoid getting hit or to punish my opponent.
2. I use arrows mainly to keep an opponent off the edge, in the water, or in the air, where it is least likely to get punished by any lag or any character with a reflector, usually only arrow loop to hit my opponent in the air.
3. I will only shoot 2-3 arrows before dashing in to attack.
4. I try to get in a lot of grab to tilt or air combos.
5. Usually dash towards opponent at beginning of match instead of arrow spamming.

Thats all i can think of for now.

I switch between offense and defense as well (or at least try to). But I see a slight trend to be defensive.

If you are referring to my post, I actually meant my defensive play was more on the 'don't get hit' type of mindset, which doesn't mean spamming arrows and keeping distance all the time.

I often switch between defensive and offensive quite a bit. I will only shoot 2-3 arrows before dashing to attack.

I actually changed my #3, considering most defensive players will have the mindset of 'do not get hit.' Although i've seen some pretty weak defensive play by a lot of pits out there.

I just saw a recurring trend; I wasn't referring specifically to your post. I just noticed people play very defensively and thought it should be pointed out, considering Pit has excellent offensive capabilities as well.

i usaly just play a mixture of both more or less i just go in and get attacks then dodge when necesary and asess the situation so its kinda offensive that i play

-I mostly play black pit, sometimes blue or gold.
-Sometimes I'll spam a couple of arrows as someone tries to approach me, then get an up-close arrow to hit and, while they're briefly stunned, quickly retaliate.
-I never use all three of my regular mid-air jumps before gliding, so I'm not helpless afterward (free to use attacks, WoI, etc), although I'm sure most Pit players do this. Similarly, I always try to use an attack to prevent helplessness after using WoI (usually N-air or D-air), whether there's an opponent in effective attack range or not.
-I find myself spamming D-smash quite a bit.
-I often try to chaingrab with F-throw at low %'s if possible. lol

defensive is the smartest thing to do since this is brawl and if you dont play defensively you will get destroyed thats why pit has his *pew pews though in friendlies its really fun to play aggressively
