So I have been practicing wall techs and I sometimes wall jump away when I don't mean to. The problem is I can't react to me doing this with the necessary back-air.

I am wondering what inputs cause this as opposed to just regular techs. Is it because of the analog stick being in a certain position? I noticed it happens more often when I try to Smash DI attacks.

Holding up / holding y during the walltech causes walltech jump.
