Here is a fun idea imagine it’s 1999 and Smash ultimate is releasing on the Nintendo 64 and there are 89 fighters in this game how would you want the roster to look like during that time?
Keep in mind the original 12 stays

Which means 77 Fighters are left to be added and among them 7 echoes fighters and it can’t be the characters that made their first appearance after 1999

decided to use roster maker to make a visual appearance of the 89 fighters 1999 ultimate roster (also ignore Evil Queen from Disney I didnt have Dark Queen from Battletoads in the roster maker so i used her instead lol)

Sadly Waluigi and most of the RPGs do not exist yet. Daisy exists but has done nothing but appear as a damsel and run a golf shop yet. I feel uncomfortable picking an individual Koopaling or mashing them all together in one moveset, since the idea of them being in a Koopa Clown Car would be very random without Bowser Jr having canonically done it first. In 1999, the Geno fanbase does not yet exist, so I don't have to appease it, but there aren't many options.

Greninja was added as a piece of concept art, so gen 2 Pokemon feel like completely fair game here (both games come out in 1999, but Smash 64 is supposed to come out at the start of the year). Unfortunately, I don't think any gen 2 Pokemon have anywhere near as much icon power as the Pokemon I posted, but I still throw it a token character. Togepi, Marill, Snubull, and Donphan are the main promotional Pokemon known about at the time. Donphan is more interesting but we're lacking in tiny characters on this roster.
