IMO:

His standard A attack. It by itself isnt that bad when you look at it, but because it doesnt really combo into anything like other characters standard A attacks it shows up VERY quickly how awful it is.

Thoughts?

Speaking generally, his super slow attacks. For how slow they were, it just doesn't make up for its power. Ganon was basically defenseless against Meta Knight, Ice Climbers, Diddy, etc.

Flame Choke is like the one move i feel any speed in but it still has such slow start up thats very visible against any experienced player.

I wouldn't say there's a simple move which hurts ganon by itself, but the lack of anything useful overall makes him unviable.

He has no decent OoS options, and yet has to sit inside his shield half the match for not being able to approach.
Can't handle pressure, can't pressure himself. Is completely powerless against camping, extremely prone to getting gimped. Doesn't kill well, as his kill moves (as many as they are) all require hard reads in order to succeed.

Probably what hurt him is a large hinder to his already poor recovery and his great damage output and knockback, mostly to his Up Tilt, which is no longer a OHKO.
