I keep seeing this on release dates. What does it stand for? I would be delighted if someone would clear this up for me.

so European games are slower?... I don't get how that works...Not quite sure what PAL stands for but its the version of videogames released in Europe and Australia.
Pretty much games run at 50 Frames per Second, while in Japan and the Americas play at 60 Frames per Second.
