I think that considering there's only going to be 2 more weeks of updates until release, we'll start getting some really juicy stuff. Whether or not the first update of the new year is gunna be juicy... I don't know.

There's not gonna be a special update. Personally I don't see why people keep thinking "Oh! This date will have a special update!! etc. It never happens. No XMAS update, no previous release date update. Updates are truly and 100% random if you ask me, unless they coincide with things lik the Nintendo conference, E3 and E4all.
