Probably out eating some dirt or something.

This is a friendly against my friend Lange whoh hasn't been on the boards lately, he uses a Pikachu and I actually 3 stocked him on the original film but, when we looked over it the camera was off center. You'll actually see me at the start for a split second:laugh: .

This little text thing will show up every now and then but, don't worry it's just the trial I used to conver the VOB to a WMV so I could submit it.

The whole egg roll thing, that was the only match I used it really and I only did it to catch Lange off gaurd.

basically speed and combos, try to incorporate wavedashing, shffl, djc, ece in your game because as of now your moving a bit on the slow side. less rolling and random smashing, more wavedashing, aerials and tilts.

:yoshi: Yeah, besides the lack of "advanced" play, as they call it, that Yosh isn't too bad.

You seem to have his spacing down well, which is a good basic instinct. Much less rolling, though. And try not to roll toward your opponent as an approach. Lastly, much less smashing--it leaves you so lagged out. Try using a few more aerials, some jabs, and definitely more tilts.

If you're wanting to become a tournament Yoshi, then there's much more things you'd need to work on, but I'm assuming you're a casual player, so just working on the basics like what Mind Trick and anybody else in this thread will tell you should help you get to where you wanna be.

Allright thanks guys, I get really cautious with that Pikachu, I really didn't want to get hit by that thunder when I was in the air, I guess I should be more agressive on that. Anyways, I'll work on the advanced play and try to use less smashing. Thanks for the help guys.

Speeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed is what you neeeeeeeeeeeed. This is a problem for a lot of beginner players, but is so much a part of Yoshi's game that if you don't have the patience to learn it then you might as well not play Yoshi. Even if you can't wavedash, there's double-jump cancelling and l-cancelling. ESPECIALLY l-cancelling. You'll eventually find out that Yoshi's aerials are very very useful, more so than many of his ground moves.

Just poop people off the stage. lol

But yeah these guys have said it already. Um, just try not to go crazy with the smash attacks roll less. Try out some of the more advanced stuff too. Check out Bringers guide, I'm sure it will help.
