Made in conjunction with the thread What beta and 1P stages could've been playable in Vs. mode. (Smash 64)
What if during the development of Super Smash Bros. (N64) Masahiro Sakurai decided to add some of the Beta or 1-player Characters (& Alternate Costumes) to Multi-player mode. They would all be accessible on the character select screen in addition to the already available Multi-player characters and all glitches such as freezing, bad spawn locations, inaccurate controller buttons, etc. would be patched/ fixed for Vs. mode, 1P mode, and training mode use. Which of the following Beta or 1-player characters would you like to have playable in multi-player mode?
List of already playable characters:
Beta Dragon King: The Fighting Game characters:
Planned Beta Characters:
Scrapped Beta Characters:
Non-playable 1P Mode characters:
Non-Playable Alternate Costumes:
Rumored Beta Characters:
Other:
Please let me know if I missed any characters.
Many of these characters and alternate costumes would've been really cool if they were included in the game, but sadly they weren't... If only someone could include these characters into the game through a modification. "HINT" "HINT"

- Giant Donkey Kong
- Metal Mario
Note: Metal Mario Is a separate character from Mario because his weight, strength, mobility, stats, etc. are different classifying him more as a clone character instead of an alternate costume. Although his model could be used as an alternate costume.
- Master Hand
Note: Although Master Hand doesn't move around and act like a normal character he is still technically classified as one.

These characters were not included in the poll because they are most likely untrue.
