What are the best and worst stages for Mario?

Honestly, Mario's best stages are any with platforms. I personally like the tri-platform levels the best.

Mario's worst stage is easily FD.

Yup, platforms lead to up-air strings and will lead to kills if you can read DI pretty fast.
