“Yah!” The luminary was confused. He had received an invitation to join smash when a giant ball of white light surrounded by hundreds of hands. Emitting an aura that reeked of evil. He knew the battle to come would be devastating to the landscape. He used zoom to go to an uninhabited island after he had saw others do the same. Fox lead the charge, blaster in hand. “Don’t let a single one get away!” As the others tried to stay calm, Shulk had gone deathly pale. Looking back, Shulk tried in vain to warn his fellow warriors as the giant light had absorbed the hands and condensed into a small sphere. Suddenly, it emit rays of light that immediately went after the fighters. Some decided to stand and fight, only to be killed. Others tried to escape, but faced the same end. As the luminary was never one to back down, he cast bounce on himself to see if the rays would be deflected. It was entirely ineffective. In the end, only one had survived. The small pink ball, known as Kirby.

(The Inkling duo poured ink on the ground and hid in it, but it was no use. The rays of light swallowed both ink puddles.)

Kirby had been mourning the loss of his friends. He had to be strong however, and marched forth through the twisted landscape of the world. He had many of his friends, but they were unusually weak and had special abilities. They released spirits that strengthened his abilities and gave him powers. He fought until he reached a statue of Mario. Kirby remembered his adventures of the sub space emissary. He tried to return him to normal, but was attacked instead.
: Poyo!(What are you doing?!)
:I will kill you-a, and serve my-a duty.
Mario had no spirits assisting him, and the battle was over in an instant. His eyes once again showed his courage and bravery. Kirby tried to explain what happened, but all he could say was Poyo. The spirit Of Celeste explained instead. They reached a road with three fighters. Marth, the elegant swordsman. Shiek, the mysterious Shieka. Villager, the mayor of many towns. They had to choose who to save first. Do they want fighting skills and experience with Marth, do they want someone to gather intel on galeems many fighters with Shiek, or did they want to simply save a friend.

They had been imprisoned in the same area as statues. Even in death, Galeem saw it fit to allow them to stay together.

Kirby and Mario decided that combat prowess would be needed to defeat Galeems soldiers and save their friends. They approached Marth slowly and lightly tapped him. He jumped into battle and slashed at Mario, who had narrowly dodged.
: You could join us. You can have purpose in Galeems army, Kirby. As for you Mario, your loyalty wavered. I shall strike you down!
: Poyo. (...)
: I will-a smash some sense into you-a Marth.
It was a hard battle, and Mario finally found his opening and blasted Marth with an explosion. Marths grey skin flushed with color and had come to his senses. Suddenly, one of the hands they had seen on the cliff side appeared. It had created odd barriors around the other statues that could not be broken. They would need to find another path.


After hours of freeing spirits, they had reached a city. The entrance of the city had not one, but two statues. A male and female inkling.

Both statues looked up and stared at the group
: Why do you turn against us?
: With your expertise and our friendship, we can rule together!

: This is not you! Fight Galeem’s influence. I know its hard, the power is intoxicating. But for the sake of the world!
: Poyo poyo, po poyo. ()

The inklings heard all they needed to. As they rushed the fighters, Marth and Kirby stepped into action. Fell immediately to Marth, but was putting up a fight. As Kirby almost lost, he managed to win with one powerful swing of his hammer. The Inklings were back to normal, but their friendship grew stronger. Marth explained everything, and they headed south east to Sheik through a forest. They found Jigglypuff and made short work of the statue. Shiek on the other hand, no doubt would put up a fight.
