Weekend Updates To Finish Up The News

Seeing how the February release date is drawing nearer and nearer, I think Sakurai just might make updates on Saturday and Sunday just to rap up things on the DOJO. Not to mention the Japan release date. Maybe every other week he might do so. That's my theory anyways.

What are your thoughts on this?

Sakurai could decide to do this if he wanted to. You know, to probably do the updates he couldn't do on the weekdays. That is, if he has set a date deadline that he wants to make, he could start to use Sat and Sun.

No I highly doubt he will. We have enough miscellaneous updates on weekdays. What makes you think extending it will make pacing any easier?

I'm sure they were sure of the number of updates when they decided the new release date. Even then, they don't have to stop at the release date. They could bust out a triple update everyday up until the release date if they really wanna cover everything.

I also think it would be necessary for them to make updates on weekends if:

1. They want to include more characters than they originally wanted.

2. If the game gets delayed for w/e reason.

3. To play catch up if they are behind in there character updates.

Umm... good updates have been a lil rare on the Dojo nowadays. Also, theres that 2 month delay.

I think Sakurai doesn't have that much news to give out.

If there are Saturday and Sunday updates, it would be things such as Items or songs, and I prefer to don't have updates that way lol

then after that he'll update every 2 days

True, but don't you think this would be a bit pointless? I mean, we'll have the game in our hands to unlock everything ourselves. Don't know about you bro, but when I get Brawl, I'll never go to the DOJO again. Heh....

@Eight Sage, having updates on weekends could be a fresh start for all of us. Monday through Fridays have been kinda dissapointing, but a Sat or Sun update, well, Sakurai could label one of those days as an absolutely great update that you can't miss cause it will be epic every single time.

Meh....I wouldn't care, unless now if you could download characters or something. It's all about the roster and everything else is just what it is....everything else. Besides, this would be revenge for intriguing me to stay up until 3:00 A.M. only to look at a really crappy update.

I do although think he will be either bringing every thing together with last minute Character updates or just keep on giving us filler crap. I think it is safe to say that we will not be seeing any updates on a weekend.

I don't think I would like weekend updates.

For one, they already stretched the number of updates they had to give because of the delay. Meaning if we did get weekend updates, they might just be filler updates.

Actually they could just give us double/triple updates and it would be just as well.
