We need a new stage picks/bans thread

I am no expert, because I just started playing young link, but some of the stages in the old thread are no longer legal, such a Dk64 and corneria

There aren't many stages that are legal or meta. So there really isn't a good/bad stage to ban/CP.

I ban final regardless. Platform game too strong.

Final Destination is a scary place, unless you're facing a Samus, then my usual ban is DL64.

Nah if you're facing Samus as Young Link go to DL64. Sure you can't kill her as easily, but she shouldn't able to hit you. Don't be dumb and approach her lol

Regadless, I'd still like advice about where to take certain characters on counterpick or neutral... and bans too.

I prefer FoD against Samus. After all Laijin you did wreck my Samus on FoD at Xanadu a while back.

How come? I do like FoD for YLink myself, but I'd like an explanation anyways.

I ban FD 100% of the time and my opponent usually bans DL against me for some reason. I really like Yoshi's and FoD for yl because it's easier to recover and lower platforms means I can read techs on with uairs.

Dreamland is one of YLink's strongest stages, if not his best stage. Lots of room to run around and wall out your opponent with projectiles. I also personally like FoD and Yoshi's for the better kill potential.
