We have 23 Brawlers already!?!

Guys...little by little, Sakurai has revealed 23 brawlers to us. Considering there are no clones in the roster, the roster is pretty extraordinary. No, this is just plain crazy! What do you think of the current roster?

P.S. Yes I know if you count Zamus there are actually 24 brawlers.

But what really matters is how many more are to come...

Sheik
Captain Falcon
Ganondorf
Luigi
(they're all but confirmed)
Animal Crossing Character
2 new franchise icons still to be revealed according to icon theory...


That's 31... we already have more than melee...

With a few more newcomers (and veterens) the roster will be HUGE...

yea we already have confirmations for jiggz, luigi, gdorf, sheik, and animal crossing character. including sheik and zamus thats 29 characters with obviously plenty more to come. theres plenty of veterans who havent been confirmed, and theres still another third party or two, and im sure theres some more nintendo newcomers

An AC icon does not necessarily confirm an AC character, just as a DS icon doesn't confirm a DS character. And no, Miis would NOT be using the DS icon since, you know, those are exclusive to the Wii. And no, that icon isn't meant to represent the Nintendo hardware as a whole - it's clearly a DS.

Also, Sakurai never said he was aiming for a particular number of characters.

I agree with you, it is crazy. So much variety and not a clone in sight. I love it.
